At WHO'S A GOOD DOG? we offer a range of services. We will assess your dog’s coat and discuss what style will best suit them based on your dog’s general coat condition, lifestyle, breed/crossbreed, temperament and owners commitment to at-home maintenance between grooming appointments. Recommendations will then be given about the frequency of grooming appointments based on the above criteria.

  • Full Groom (Trimmed Breeds)

    The full groom experience at WHO'S A GOOD DOG? for trimmed breeds includes:


    • Full de-tangling

    • Shampoo & conditioning 

    • Coat carefully dried

    • Ear care

    • External anal gland expression

    • Nail clipping

    • Sanitary clip

    • Parasite check

    • Styled to breed standard or agreed alternative style


    All shampoos/conditioners are of the highest quality and designed for dogs. Selected shampoo is based on your dog's coat type and skin condition.

  • Full Groom (Full Coated Breeds)

    Best option for specific double coated breeds, coats that don’t require trimming.


    The full groom experience at WHO'S A GOOD DOG? for full coated breeds includes:


    • Full de-tangling

    • Shampoo & conditioning

    • Additional leave-in conditioning products 

    • Coat carefully dried

    • Ear care

    • External anal gland expression

    • Nail clipping

    • Parasite check

    • Final comb through of coat

    • Coat left natural and untrimmed

  • Full Groom (Short/Smooth Coated Breeds)

    The full groom experience at WHO'S A GOOD DOG? for short/smooth coated breeds includes:


    • Shampoo & conditioning

    • Coat carefully dried

    • Ear care

    • External anal gland expression

    • Nail clipping

    • Parasite check

    • Removal of as much shedding coat as possible using specialised tools


    All shampoos/conditioners are of the highest quality and designed for dogs. Selected shampoo is based on your dog's coat type and skin condition.

  • Full Groom (Hand Stripping)

    ** Please Note: we are currently at full capacity for Hand Stripping clients **


    This option is suited best to un-neutered wire-coated breeds. It involves plucking the outer coat by hand and/or specialised tools to maintain correct coat texture and colour. The process takes considerably longer than using clippers or scissors and additional costs apply.


    The full groom experience at WHO'S A GOOD DOG? for hand stripping includes:


    • Hand stripping to breed standard

    • Removal of undercoat

    • Mild shampooing

    • Coat carefully dried

    • Ear care

    • External anal gland expression

    • Nail clipping

    • Sanitary clip

    • Parasite check
